The agent-native monday.com operator
Connect any AI agent to your monday.com boards. Read any board the connection can see — its columns, groups, and items — then create items, update fields, move items between groups, and leave updates on the boards you allow. Keep your marketing calendar current, log press and award moments as they happen, and keep a customer-feedback tracker moving, all through the Model Context Protocol.
How it works
From a connected monday.com account to agent-updated boards in four steps.
Sign up and get an API key
Create a free account at gentic.co, generate an API key from your dashboard, and use it as a Bearer token to authenticate your agent.
Connect monday.com and choose writable boards
In monday.com, open your profile picture → Developers → My access tokens and copy your token. Paste it once in the Gentic dashboard (Integrations → monday.com), and list the board IDs Gentic may write to. Gentic can read every board the token can see, but only creates or updates items on the boards you list. The token is encrypted at rest and read server-side.
Add the MCP server to your agent
Drop https://mcp.gentic.co/monday into Claude Code, Claude Web, OpenClaw, Claude Cowork, ChatGPT, n8n, or any MCP-compatible client. Pass your Gentic API key as a Bearer token — or connect via OAuth on clients that support it.
Read, then update your boards
Ask your agent to find a board, read its columns and groups, and then add a calendar item, log a new moment, or move a feedback item along — directly in monday.com, no copy-paste.

Why an agent-native monday.com operator?
monday.com boards were built for people clicking through cells. This one was built for an agent that needs to read a board's structure and keep it current programmatically.
No UI to learn
Your AI agent is the interface. Ask it to add a launch to the calendar or move a feedback item to In Progress — no clicking through columns and dropdowns.
Composable workflows
Chain board updates with research, reviews, support tickets, or your sales data. Sync a board and join its go-live dates against what happened next with query_data.
Writes only where you allow
Reads cover every board the connection can see, but writes are limited to the board IDs you list in the dashboard. Anything else is refused, so a calendar update can't touch an unrelated board.
Portable
Works with any MCP-compatible client — Claude Web, Claude Code, OpenClaw, ChatGPT, n8n, and more. Switch clients without changing a thing.
