MCP Server for Research

The agent-native market research toolkit

Give your AI agent live access to consumer conversations and search trends. Mine Reddit for sentiment, pull Google Trends interest curves, and store every run for later — all through the Model Context Protocol.

Works with Claude Code, Claude Web, OpenClaw, Claude Cowork, ChatGPT, n8n, and more.

How it works

From signup to a saved Reddit run in five steps.

1

Sign up and get an API key

Create a free account at gentic.co, generate an API key from your dashboard, and use it as a Bearer token to authenticate your agent.

2

Add the MCP server to your agent

Drop https://mcp.gentic.co/research into Claude Code, Claude Web, OpenClaw, ChatGPT, n8n, or any MCP-compatible client. Pass your Gentic API key as a Bearer token — or connect via OAuth on clients that support it.

3

Mine Reddit for sentiment

Ask the agent about a topic, product, or campaign. It calls search_reddit with the right subreddits, sort order, and time window — routed through ScrapingBee so it works reliably from cloud IPs.

4

Compare interest with Google Trends

Pull interest-over-time for up to 5 keywords, plus top and rising related queries and optional interest by region. Use it to spot momentum before Reddit picks it up.

5

Replay any run for free

Every search is persisted per-organization with a unique run_id. Retrieve the same posts or trend data later with get_research_results — no re-paying.

Why agent-native research?

Traditional research dashboards weren't built for AI agents. This one was.

No UI to learn

Your AI agent is the interface. Describe the topic you want to investigate in natural language — it runs the searches, parses the results, and writes the brief.

Composable workflows

Chain Reddit and Google Trends with Gentic Data, Influencer, Knowledge, and Creative — turn raw discussions into briefs, into creator targets, into ad concepts.

Portable

Works with any MCP-compatible client — Claude Web, Claude Code, OpenClaw, ChatGPT, n8n, and more. Switch clients without changing a thing.

Pay per pull

Reddit results are 5¢ each, Google Trends and result retrieval are free. No monthly seats, no platform fees, no usage minimums.
